THIS NUMBER CAME WITH A FAKE TEXT ASKING ME TO CONNECT TO A WEBSITE TO GET AN ENERGY REBATE. THIS WEBSITE WILL INSTALL MALWARE ON YOUR COMPUTER. BEWARE! THE WEBSITE IS https://energy.bill-rebate.com TYPICAL OF FAKE TEXTS DOING THE ROUNDS NOW, 21/9/22. I HAVE NOT CALLED THE NUMBER!
I have had a number of calls from this number or one with a similar area code and have answered a few times and got no response. I do not bother picking up anymore.

Received a call from this number, but already know of the scam where they are pretending to be sky and pretending to want to improve your connection. When in actual fact they ask you to download an app which gives them full access to all of your mobile phone/financial data and locks you out

This number was listed on the bottom of a suspicious email titled Account Payable notifying me of remittance copy from Natasha West of The Exchager Room MK Ltd !! Highly suspicious!!
Called me saying they are the Carphone Warehouse and were trying to get me to buy laptops, phones and tablets. The line was pretty rubbish so I'm not sure if this was a scam as I'm sure the Carphone Warehouse don't just randomly call up numbers.
Again I believe you have been involved in an accident - unsolicited and reluctant to speak when challenged.

SCAM Claimed she was "'Yennifer' from 'Wirgin' media technical department"! Woman had very 'thick' 'Indian'-style accent. She said "oh, oh, oh," when I said I was busy & I would ring Virgin later.
