SCAM. Usual crap of an obvious overseas caller claiming to be from my bank. I happily wasted her time for nearly 20 minutes and then asked her "oh, what's the name of my bank?"; unsurprisingly she couldn't answer so I left her with some insults. I needed a coffee break anyway ????.

This is a SCAM. The call started with a woman stating she was from Virgin Media and had noted problems with my router; asked if I had also noticed this. I said I hadn't. She said she could help me resolve the problem. I told her she couldn't, not least because I wasn't with Virgin Media. She told me she could help because all the providers' support centres were working together on this. I told her 'nice try' and hoped the weather was good in Delhi, or wherever she was 'phoning from. Then I hung up.

This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. This number rang me this afternoon. It was obviously a recorded message. The message said that there was two unusual transactions on my bank account this morning, one for £300-00 and another for £3000-00. The womans voice on the phone message then asked if I wanted to query the transactions and to press button 1 to reject and button 2 to talk to someone. There was no mention of my name or my bank or account. Being aware early on in this call that it was a scam I put the phone down. So beware everyone!
Amazon scam. Recorded message tells me I have ordered an Apple Ipad through Amazon and to press 1 if I want to cancel so I did as I like to string them along. All I got was a repeat of the message. What a strange scam if they don't even have the opportunity to get any information!

Asian sounding guy, rabbiting at speed about who I was and telling me my details, barely caught a word, then says BT will call to save me money on my Telephone and Broadband, then hung up immediately, never asked was I interested in any possible savings, not even the basic pleasantries of asking how I was etc... Just quick fire rabbit rabbit rabbit, BT will call me, click, all I can say is, if this was anything to do with BT, they are now less likely to be getting my business than they were before.

this caller keeps on calling - seems to be on a daily basis and mainly when I am work - so not interest in the Postcode Lottery no matter how many times they call - hope they get the message (eventually) - getting annoyed with persistence now!
SCAM. Says it is from Google (but has goo.gle in the message). Clearly another scam trying to get your bank data and from the same epicente (Manchester area) where hundreds of scams are comming from. The telephone companies need holding to account for all this scamming.

Received call - Automated message - they are going to suspend my NI number because of suspicious activity - please press 1 to sort out (words to that effect) Quite a funny one really - possibly also 07983144545 and 07983146153 and 07983146926 - all tried to ring me today.
