Ok seems like this number has called people starting on 23March 2023. As do not no anyone in Dagestan or Russia for that matter i did not answer. They left no voicemail as regards why they phoned so treating it as a scam and blocked it.

I believe the email I received regarding a BT bill is a scam like several previous ones as the address is not a BT one. This is the phone number quoted in the email.

I received an SMS that appears to have been sent by HSBC. This shows an one-time password for a transaction of around £983 and asks me to urgently call this number (03309124638) if I do not recognise this transaction. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM! I have called HSBC (on their true number and not the fake number mentioned above) and they have confirmed what was obvious to me: THIS IS A SCAM. Your account is safe and has not been compromised. IGNORE THE TEXT MESSAGE and do NOT call that number. That's all!

Someone speaking an Asian language called at 8am. When he realised I had answered he switched to English to tell me my broadband had been hacked. Asked the name of his firm - BT. Told him I would deal with it and hung up. Rang BT but the number was not theirs! how surprising. Number now blocked.

This number belongs to an adult male... He has been contacting my eleven year old daughter for a period of (almost) three months... I don't have all the details yet but I do know that my daughter is not the only victim of this predator. Said they was citizens advice twice in the call and my application is being approved i asked what application as ive not applied for one. When i questioned him about it he could only give my name nothing else. I then saod citizens advice now call random calls he then said he works for citizens governments advice. Fraud Scam. Vodafone support website has a page on which to verify that a number is calling from Vodafone. This is not a Vodafone number. Here's the information I could get from them before they hung up. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone promotional dept offering a new phone upgrade and 2 year contract. Caller was inconsistent in what they said. Once saying a verification email would arrive in 30 minutes then saying 1 hour. They switched for no reason between talking about iphone and Samsung phones.

the person claims to be from British Gas or another energy provider saying his name is either Peter or Jay he is pushy and aggressice keeps calling demanding to speak to a manager when you refuse he keeps calling and is rude and wont take no for answer especially when you state you dont wnat his business now blocked numbers from his mobile and this number, avoid at all costs as he will keep calling i had 25 calls in less than 4 minutes, after telling him i am going with another energy provider!
