This is the new scam. If you have number recognition these devious energy companies are now using local dialling codes to make you think it is a local call. A person with a strong Indian accent answers and in short they invite you to settle out of court. I suspect that the caller is not UK based but is using some relay of sorts to make calls appear to be UK based. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers) - can be something different and legitimate, but srry I'm always suspicious considering numbers for shared rate. I recommend to block the whole 0845286xxxx range... Did someone answer this number?

we saw their no. on cheapflights website and we called to book next day flight, they said they are from cheap flights tickets and they will book flight for next day for £450 and then we said give some discount and then they agreed on £440.
