Call centre based in India. They claim that there has been unauthorized activity on the internet from your computer and they will disconnect you unless you pay them. Once they have your credit card details they will take all the money that they can get away with. There are other variations on this to get your credit/debit card details.

PPI company, have called me 3 times today already and several times over the last few days
Automated message, pretending to be from national insurance stating that your NI number has been used in a number of illegal activities & all your assets are about to be seized.
Numerous recent calls asking for house owner or house holder but never identifying themselves or stating their business. Seem like some kind of property dealers. Other people in this area have received similar calls.

wouldn’t answer as nearly all capquest numbers are 07794 986 xxx. It is just the last 3 change around but they are usually around the 250 mark. The chances of anyone else ringing me first thing in the morning off the same number are very very slim indeed! (I’m ex PI and this case should never have gone into debt collection, beware of Greenstar energy!)
