Waited for me to give my name when I didn't they hung up.

Had a missed call and so rang them back - company is Ascent Finances. Not a clue who they are or why they're calling. You can ring them back on 0161 820 1425 to have your number removed but I wonder if that opens up a whole new way for them to contact you. I'll just block

Asian Adam Wight called from 01382832348 from Claims Advisory Department. due a cheque for bank hidden charges for the past 20 years. This Adam said the bank i was with (which was incorrect) then changed it to another. On a more or less regular basis I receive calls from all over the UK whilst I live on the continent I suggest never to get connected as people might be able to use your tel nr to make international calls. I have blocked this number.

Apparently HMRC. Knew name and address but hung up when we said wrong number.

A call claiming to be BT saying that phone line is going to be cut off and to press a button number for more details.

Non-stop calls from this number and similar numbers all day. Answered once and it was a company called Energy Search or Search Energy. It keeps calling despite me asking to be taken off their lists.
