I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. I was contacted by this number who said they were Carphone Warehouse and I was due an upgrade on my phone. I felt the telemarketer was very friendly but was very pushy. Repeating my details over and over. He then had to phone back to say that my address wasn t on their system and that I needed to phone Orange and update even though I have lived at my address for 34 years and had 3 Orange contracts. Needless to say I told them not to bother.

Looked like the usual nuisasance call when I saw the number. I tried calling back but recieved a auto message saying the number was not in service!

When you call back they ask for personal information and if you don't give them, they abruptly hang up the phone. If you receive a call from 02037445774 then go to the official web site (i.e. www.gov.uk) and look for the contacts and call the number indicated in the official site. This will prevent fraudsters and scammers to harm disadvantaged people. No official company (HMRC or any Bank) calls you
