Called my mother yesterday, stating they were from HMRC. Threatened her saying she owed a bill and if she doesn't pay immediately she would get arrested and go to jail! Shook my mother up but she did not fall for it. BEWARE!!!!!

SCAM 'I just received a text on my mobile phone saying "NatWest: You sucessully paired a new device. If you do not recognise this visit nat.west.newdev-secure.com to revert the setting." Spelling mistakes were in the original message. This is obviously a scam as I do not have a Nat West account.'.

Didn t answer the call from the number 01332387210, common practice for me regarding unknown numbers. So glad I have this habit after reading what s on this page. I too am on Vodafone. Therefore, Vodafone need to investigate because our numbers have obviously been sourced from from.

Was obviously working through a phone book since they asked for the ex village hall secretary by name - the number had been listed as a personal number in error. Our number is registered with telephone preference service to stop wasting our time and money
Called landline today 13/02/2020 c.13:10,no message left. Looks like an Italian number but no match on Google. Fake number therefore definite scam.

Then told me he needed money and I should give him some as people like me are rich because the government gives me money. Got even more aggressive when I said no . Be carefull They use different numbers!! They give you a return number that is invalid. Waste their time - keep them on hold as long as possible. Then block their number.
