Fraud - I think? This number rang my home landline (I couldn't reach it, I'm disabled). - I did 1471 + 3 - the number was dead. Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). This number doesn't ring when dialed on landline or my mobile, (but rang me a good 1/2 minutes)? I checked & checked it again. - How's it possible? - Obviously some kind of "con", "scam" ?!

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.

Expect a call from our Fraud team. Please wait for our call”. That was followed 2mins later by a phone call to the same mobile number saying it was from 02071934897 (London). SPAM - Welsh man from call centre said he was from Protective Life (or something) told him I wasn't interested and to take me off his list. Started getting very aggressive and kept asking why and did I even know what the call was about. Told him not interested and he then got angry and called me a whore. Told him where to go and number blocked.

Claims to be from O2 but doesn't match any known O2 numbers. Probably phishing.

3 silent calls and when called back a recorded message states "This number is no longer in service" Beware as other sites are reporting a scam call!

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

My mother has been contacted many times on this and other phone numbers. The message, from the caller is always the same, she tells my mother, first in English and then in Chinese that she has a package waiting for her, to collect from the Chinese embassy. This is clearly a scam call.
