A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. I was sent the following message on this number: Hi mum I'm texting you off a friends phone l've smashed mine and their phones about to die, can you WhatsApp my new number 07598351462 x The message was not sent by anyone I know.
Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.

Claimed to be from Currys PC World but was speaking in very broken English. They asked what phone I was using but other than that I could barely understand them.
I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). Fraud - tried to get me to respond to an email he sent during our call. He wanted me to take out my money from cryptocurrency and put it into an account allegedly held by BSL financial, as my trading company was money laundering and lost their licence to trade. He was very convincing but I have contacts who investigated for me quickly and advised me NOT to reply or answer any further calls.
