Text Message, someone claiming to be "Annie from Korea" having my phone number in the address book. Never met anyone going by that name, I don't know anyone from Korea and has gone silent once I asked for proof of who they claim to be. Possibly a scam.

I wasn't bothered at first since she can be like that sometimes. this went ahead for quite a while, then I became overtly suspicious when I asked to use her room desktop and she refused. I further asked much later to use her phone she also refused.l contacted [email protected]
Considered as a scam call. Automated message speaks of unusual activity on your Bank Account, eg a £200 purchase from Amazon not thought to be made by you and a £1,000 transaction from abroad. Hang up. Do not "press 1" or any other numbers. Ring your Bank if you feel you need to.

Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
Came up as possible business. Didn't answer, blocked the number.
