nI dont answer calls if I dot recognise the number

Phoned telling me they had a cheque to send for refund of bank charges. Had my name and address, wanted my date of birth. When asked which bank were refunding charges just repeated UK Financial Services. Told me they would cancel cheque if I didn t give date of birth. I said that would be fine and hung up. Its time uk phone numbers were stopped from being given to overseas callers.

Called my mobile 4 times, I blocked their number. They left message on answer machine but it was complete silence.

First support saying they understood I had an accident. I got the guys name (Steven). He was trying to bully and intimidate me not aware I m a former Personal Injury Lawyer. When I caught him out and and asked to speak to his supervisor so he cut me off.

29 Oct 2021 - Bloody scammers wanting personal information and spoke with a forgein Asian accent. Told the F O and blocked them Reporting to Ofcom as I'm totally fed with unsolicited calls. They ve be ringing me for the last 2months, I never answer, just dial 1471 to find their number, get calls all day long, really annoying now so went to their website and requested they remove me from their data bases, this can be done from the contact us option on their website, we will see, Also have my home/mobile number registered with TPS,(telephone preference service)

Called my Mum, who has dementia and claimed to be from her Housing Association. Asked her personal questions, which she answered (because they told her they were from her housing association). I am VERY ANGRY ABOUT THIS!!!

Answered this as they used my local dialling code. Asked if I had had a road traffic accident. I said no and he apologised.
