Stating I had a refund coming

Fraud This guy rang me pretending to be my Santander Bank. He said there seems to be some fraudulant activity on my account and I should move all my money into the main account and then he would change all my account numbers and sort codes He sent messages from 08000 123 123 and he confirmed Santander will always use this number as it uses the 123 from their 123 account. Remember: Your bank will never ask you to move money!

Automated call alleging a tax fraud & to press 1 for the 2 for that. It is a scam

SCAM 01392433831 called me today approximately 11pm on my landline - I don't say anything when i answer and wait for the caller to speak first - but when I took the call it had a very noisy background like a call centre, but no discernible conversations then the caller hung up. This is a typical nuisance call - usually from overseas with heavily accented BT/O2/Vodafone/EE 'Technician' wanting to access my accounts etc. They always hangup if i don't say anything first.

Scam

Caller pronounced my name incorrectly and quoted an old address (10 years prior) which was also wrong. When I pointed this out he hung up.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported (01244470043, 44,45), all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly as PPI offers and pensions (financial services). I tried to call the number back but no luck, number not in service - probably one-way gateway of the call centre not allowing inbound calls so you are not able to call them back. Peopl

I just had fun with 2 of these calls. Call 1: I pretended to be deaf and to mishear everything the caller said... who eventually disconnected! Call 2: when asked "and how are you today?" I responded by giving them a detailed litany of all my ailments, in my case all invented! I would not let the caller get a word in and I terminated the call by thanking them for calling about my health but I have to go now to have my piles looked at by the nurse and I did not want to miss my appointment. SCAM / SPAM. Claiming to be from HMRC and they will arrest you if you don't pay them.

SCAM Automated voice, called saying that I had been involved in tax fraud and if I don't press 1 to be connected to an advisor, I would be arrested shortly. I am yet to be arrested!

Called me just now and claimed to be 'Jane from the NHS', in relation to the covid-19 pandemic and the need to update emergency medical records. I replied that the NHS would not do such a thing, and they immediately hung up.

Got a call off these clowns today, asking if I've had an accident or anyone else in my family. BUNCH OF W*****S
