Answered once and its about PPI. Told them I was not interested and he slammed the phone down. Then I got 12 calls from them in 3 days. If I answer again I just don t say anything and see how long it takes them to put the phone down.
This is a scam number, and probably all numbers 023821464**. Asian sounding voice said he was from "Amazon Fraud Department" and that my account had been compromised (I don't have an Amazon account). He quoted, correctly both my mobile number and my house phone number. Told me that the account would be frozen. Aggressive tone electronic generated messages left on answerphone starting last week on daily basis claiming debt where non exists.
This number called my mobile and claimed to be from HMRC. Said that I was being investigated for fraud and that if I did not press "1" to be connected then a warrant for my arrest would be issued immediately. I hung up, of course.
