Indian call center claiming to be O2 and offering me a 30% discount but also asking me to verify that I'm the owner of the phone by text even though they called me. 01202627797 called today. It was automated and said they were from Visa fraud team. They were holding a payment of £800 (and something) pounds which was a suspicious payment on a gambling site in America. I was told to press 1 if this wasn't me and to be connected to the fraud team. Obviously I just hung up, searched the number which didn't come up with anything, I checked my bank accounts and rang the bank's fraud number. As I thought, it was a scam.

SCAM call about suspending my National Insurance because I have been engaged in fraudulent activity. Didn't listen to it all as I hung up. Have had a few of these but always a different number.
Just received a call. First from this number. The caller started his pitch - so I quickly interjected with a polite but firm No thank you, good bye - after which the caller repeatedly shouted F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK right up to the point where I hung up. Nice people!!
