I had a silent call (on 15/5/15)& as I was expecting a call from unknown people on this area code, I used 1471 and phoned back. I heard a recorded message "You were called today by Media Match. The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. Rang at least 7 times today. Husband paramedic and is working 12 hour night shift tonight and hardly had any sleep today. It s very unfair bothering people like this. It can have consequences. Don t really want to have to unplug our phone in case elderly family needs to contact us urgently. I have reported the number to Ofcom
