This number (01613028217) called me just after six o’clock apparently telling me that there was nobody available to answer my call ( which I have never made), but giving me another number which would be able to deal with my ( non-existing) enquiry. The new number supplied (01618148666 ) doesn’t have many posts on this site yet so I presume that its one that’s newly in use. Lorraine called said she was from the Police & Crime Awareness Scheme and had I head of it. I said yes it is a scam and hung up. Strange that earlier today the same number called from the Safety Awareness Scheme. What a bunch of time wasters.

This person somehow had details of my car accident and pretended to be my insurer (Santander which was ironically correct) and he was asking all sorts of probing questions. I called him a fraudster / knew he was a scammer and he hung up on me.
