called me to make sure i had renewed which i had and i informed them that i do not wish to use their services as i assumed it was a sales call, to which they replied that they were not trying to change me over - they were trying to prevent any further calls coming through as they knew i had already renewed my plan they had all my contract details also which made me less wary and now i know ill only be dealing with 1 company and this 1 company only ! just read some of these reviews and it makes me chuck

Started as a silent call but picked up by "Danielle" with a Scottish accent. Offered to advise on how to reduce energy costs. Rang off when I started to ask questions about who they were. When I called the number back a recording said it was changed to 118196, a directory inquiries service run by Vox Clarity. Clearly a telemarketer after selling insulation etc

But after listening to the voicemail they left I found it was this company who gave a call back number or 01527 419 162 regarding Scottish power. Very fishy sounding to me and glad I read these posts before thinking of calling back!

so angry, now had 5 calls from this number, and can t call it back, nobody speaks. Rang us at 11.15pm and again between 1 and 2am last night. registered with TPS but they can t stop it and BT can t help unless we pay for a blocker and different phones. Someone using this number sent a text to my husband pretending to be his daughter, saying she was using this temporary number cos she dropped her phone in the sink. Even used her name. We checked with his daughter and she didn't send it.

The company is called AIMS Legal and is also known as AIMS Reclaim and AIMS Financial. This is their address: 7, Trident Park, Trident Way, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB1 3NU. Tel: 07677 448277 or 01254 454012 or 01254 297161. They are one of those spammer companies who will offer to reclaim your PPI for a large fee (when you can do it yourself for free). Well apparently you gotta pay £40 as a deposit. Now..Im not sure is this company is legit but it s not worth the risk. Do not accept..Ask for more details like I did. Claimed to be Katie from Sittingbourne Guttering Services. There is no such company. Claimed to be doing a job in the area next week so could offer a £50 discount to clean all gutters and downpipes. However did not seem to have any idea about this size of the house or the amount of work involved. When I asked which days they could make a long list was reeled off... and yet the discount is because they are in the area.
