Someone trying to explain they are a company that work with Legal and General and tried to explain that if I have life insurance I may be able to claim some of the premiums back. I asked how to spell the company name he said he was calling from and he hung up.

I don't know who they were, I only know that they were supposedly calling from Belarus and they wanted to talk to the owner of the company (which I don't own). I told them that and they said that they would send an e-mail to the owner and then hung up.

SCAM. I was called by the same "person" on a completely different number a few weeks back and was sufficiently suspicious to look it up. That was a scam too and they seem to have kept the same phone patter but changed to a different phone number today - probably to avoid the numerous scam reports on websites like these of the old phone number.
