Recorded message saying it was from a bank (no details of which) that my card had been used twice today once for over £1000 and to press a number if OK and another if not. Thought it was a scam.
I have received a text from this number saying . GOVUK: I am eligible for a discounted energy bill under the energy support scheme. It then gives me the link to apply @ https://Uk-registered.com. I haven’t opened it or applied !!!. Not sure if this genuine or a scam !?.

BASC British Association Shooting & Conservation Genuine company, child-called this morning, i wasn't sure if they were looking for donations or trying to sell memberships, as i interrupted the caller very quickly when i realised it wasn't the call that i was waiting for. This is a dangerous scam asking for money pretending to be someone you know
SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.
