Fraud Apparently operated by Algorand Capital who are in fact a fake crypto trading platform who scam people.
Automated female voice claiming to be from Visa about two payment of ca. £600 and £1000. I rang off, and then used 14713 to call it back repeatedly - which resulted in it ringing off at once each time. I did not use my keypad to send them any information in the initial call. MUST BE PHISHING????

Had my doubts on crypto investment scam funds recovery due to several attempts that turned into scam while trying to get back my invested capital on an exchange trade platform. i contact a consultant who advise me not to go further simply because there was never a service like that and i took the advice but two weeks after i came across an article on AARP news how alienwizbot .Com recovered a certain company funds worth $5.258m and i decide to give it a try by messaging them on Whatsapp via +1 626 264 5164.

64057 is the number to text to STOP reciving messages from We Buy Any Car.com On my network, O2 this is rated as a premium rate number/service so I was charged 13p to opt out. I dont know if other mobile providers recognise this number as a premium rate number or not. WBAC stated that they operate this as a free service and the cost charged is from O2 in my instance. I know its not a biggie - but strange to be charged.
Lady (Indian region accent) said she was from O2 offering 20% discount on current bill. Wanted to know mother's maiden name, how long I've lived at this address, debit card number, etc. When I challenged why they needed this information, she said it was for their verification team to verify who I was. I said if they want to give me discount to go ahead - they've got my account and bank details. Scam message starting Hi mum, I broke my phone. A colleague went along with a similar request to what’s app their new number, then got requests for money to buy new phone.

Called by this number on 5th may. I`m told my someone has tried to take two payments totaling thousands from my account. The man did`nt mention my name but said he`d transfere me to another department. If the transaction was wrong. He also did`d mention what card or bank was being threatened. Since I rarely have more than £50 in the bank , Itake it as a case of rotten cheese.

The call was from a VISA fraud checking unit. However the number was the fax number for a garage in Penkridge, Stafford that closed down some time ago. Clearly scammers have cloned the number.

This is a genuine number from santander fraud team. I was suspicious of the number so I rang it and explained I felt it was a scam and the advisor told me to ring the number on the back of my card which I did. And the fraud team confirmed that the text message was genuine and was from santander.
