signed up for www.compareni.com for car insurance quotes. About a minute after the comparison results came up on screen, the phone rang. Also got an email thanking me for taking insurance with Hughes. No call for this nonsense.

He got very defensive when poiltely informed him i i wasn t interested, and to be honest he should have stopped at that point, but no, he just kept going on. Claiming to be from virgin media and that they have been getting alerts from our hub and internet speed. Ask to check colour of lights on hub and to use a computer to enter an address so they can check and correct the issue. Dont logon computer or enter the address! Called 3 times in an hour different numbers and difffernt people. Checked with virgin media and its not them!

I ve had three missed calls from this number in as many weeks, I finally answered in time and it was someone from a local Honda garage (wirral based) asking about a car I had serviced with them recently, told them I d since sold it and they said they would update their records. Looks like tele-marketing as I m sure the next question would have been if I was interested in purchasing a new one instead.....
