just to add to earlier comment - the person became aggressive and said it didn't matter if I was not a BT customer as BT controlled the whole network and so would cut my service anyway as they had the power to do so on any number even if not contracted to BT. Another load of bollocks as an official BT number and TalkTalk both confirmed
I have received 2 calls in the past half hour from this number,fortunately I was unable to pick up the calls ... so many thanks to those who have been kind enough to spare time ...
