As others have found when you answer. After a moment or two you get an automated female voice simply saying "goodbye". This could be a "pilot" call to see if the number is valid, by answering they know it s a live number which they can sell on

Said they were Tech Support ringing about my computer. Asked them which computer and, after hesitating, said the one at your house ! Knew it was an unwanted call. Said goodbye and hung up! Wish I had strung them on a bit now!

Rang me/someone was there but didn t respond to me/they hung up. I 141d the number and got "The number has not been recognised". So....when will someone invent a foolproof method of blocking idiots like this? Please hurry up.
