Be Aware, this is a call centre phishing for what payment methods your company accepts. they call on the pretence they are a normal customer seeing you can accept Amex or Paypal but are actually collecting data to sell to merchant providers - when challenged on where they were calling from they did not answer and tried to continue questioning and then hung up when challenged again

I received a letter from my union (Unite) saying someone would be calling me and then these calls started. The person who rang it back said the message says You were called by your Union so that all ties in. From memory of the letter, it was a survey on how they were doing

Had a call from a similar number a few days ago which I blocked as it was supposedly from a magazine subscription service. This one I answered but didn’t say anything. It just cut out. Probably a scammer and generating machine. If it was genuine, the caller would have spoken…
SCAM Indian lady wanted me to give her my bank account details and dob in order to refund me £202. She said she represented Sky refund dept who had discovered they had been overcharging me for the past 12 months. I said that was odd as I am not a Sky customer. She gave her work address as 81 Newgate St, London. I pointed out that address is occupied by BT. She said Yes, BT and Sky now work together. She gave the postcode as OA4902. I pointed out there is no such postcode in UK.
