Called today by this number. A man identified himself as Sam and said he was calling about the government boiler scheme. When I asked for the company he hung up. Very suspicious.

Don’t waste your breath talking to these people. Put the phone down on them immediately or if you are so minded, just tell them to **** off . . . they’ll get the idea.

SCAM. Answered the call silent at first and then a malle answered started to introduce himself, then when I questioned where he had the number from as I was putting a trace on it, he hung up. Got a phone call an hour later from a similar number 01642278881 this time a foreign woman who stated to speak then hung up. I think they try and assess the age of the recipient of the call and if they sound old they continue with their call with a view to completing the scam.

Disreputable credit management company breaking the law by using information illegally passed on to them by BMW in pursuit of a fake amount owed . Typical of the underhand tactic increasingly used by unscrupulous companies seeking to extract money using threats. Do NOT go through security with them or give them any personal information under any circumstances.
