Definite nuisance call. Number showed up as Bristol and a woman said she was Bethany from Alpro Insurance calling about my accident. When I queried the name of the company it seemed to switch and a similar female voice said she was Louise from a different company name and asked if I d had an accident. It became apparent that this was a fancy recorded voice system so I hung up.
SCAM
non stop repeated calls to my business, one after the other for 20 minutes!! I have now answered and left the phone by the radio.

Friendly number
I was called by this number today (23.9.15) at around 2.30pm. The caller was a full English speaker, and started off quite professionally by asking if he was speaking to [my name] then introducing himself. Then he said he was "calling on behalf of", then the line went dead. I could hear general office noise in the background.
Automated call- fraudelent claim in hmrc revenue. Press one to contact officer such and such or you will be arrested shortly. That's what the machine said. Not long after that I received same call from mobile number.

Hermes txt call to confirm delivery of parcel. I ve had a delivery today and got the text call with no text so Google d the number and found these pages with the searches. When the hermes guy came I asked him about it he said the txts on housephone numbers sometimes go through properly other times you just get the notification of the txt. I got another txt call after it had been delivered from this number this time with the txt sayong they were confirming my parcel had been delivered. Thought it d be useful
