As others have found when you answer after a moment or two you get a female voice simply saying "goodbye". This is most likely a "pilot" call to see if the number is valid, by answering they know it s a live number which they can sell on
Claimed to be from BT and that there were problems with my broadband. Verbal torrent from Asian type about viruses and errors of different magnitude. Hung up.

SCAM This number is toxic. Found on landline bill 3 times totalling £21. I did not not make the calls. Tried ringing it on PAYG mobile to find out who it was. Was instantly charged £7. I would dearly like to know the identity of the criminal.
