Scam
Unsolicited call to my mobile trying to sell loft insulation. Caller (male), had my full name, address and mobile number. Asked them to remove my details as was of no use to me. Caller was quite polite and said that they would act on my request. He did not answer how they got my details though, which to be honest is quite worrying.

Automated system asking to speak to someone who has never lived at this address. I ve had the same phone number for about 16 years so I doubt they are using it for the previous owner. It says press 1 if you are (persons name) press 2 if you are not. I m guessing it s some kind of phishing exercise as its funny that this thread seems to throw lots of random names out to people. Maybe it s just to get you on the line and talking so they know the number is active so then they can pester you even more!
