Wouldn’t end the call when I said no thanks we are fully insulated and tried to talk over me I hung up and blocked, these places are now using local landline numbers ????

one of those irritating silent calls from Call Centre. I said hello and nothing and then cut off. Is it the Currys mobile phone upgrade scam?

An male with distinctive Indian accent just repeatedly says "Hello" .
Claimed to be from Carphone warehouse, not convinced Carphone warehouse would employ a tele-sales person who spoke poor English though. Persisted to try to sell me an iPhone 14 even though I told him from the start I already owned one !!!! If this gentleman really was calling from Leeds and given its an obvious scam then I do worry about his right to be living in the UK.
