Claimed to be calling on behalf of my current Life Insurance company citing EU law passed in 2012 required me to review my Life Insurance. When challenged over if he really was calling on behalf of my current Life Insurer he became aggressive and tried to talk over me.

SCAM. Automated robot message plays telling you that it is "you bank", no branch names specified, and that they have stopped a transaction of £600 from your account to a foreign country. Then says press 1 if you would like to be passed onto a person to discuss. I didn't press anything and the call just ended after a couple of seconds.
