I was called today from this number saying it was the national insurance bureau and my national insurance number has been compromised with fraudulent activity on the northern border of wales and to press 1 for more information before action was taken against me and my national insurance number. I hung up.

Caller told me he was from BT, calling about slow internet in my area, asked me to see how many lights are on my router and to log on my computer. I told him it’s a scam, he said ‘no’ I can prove it, then said ‘you’re joking me’ I hung up!
