Eventually a woman spoke...could hear lots of voices in background...suspect call centre. I did not speak ..put phone down.blocked.
Phone rang 7.10 am. Phone went dead when I picked up. Very annoying!

it was a recorded message which said that they were revenue & customs and that there was a tax fraud case registered against my name and to press 1 etc etc. I hung up.

Didn’t take the call on my landline but they left a pre recorded message informing me that my card had been used in a foreign transaction twenty minutes before and that I should press 1 to stop it. I rang the number from my mobile a couple of times and each time got the busy tone. I reckon it’s a poor attempt at a scam.

I have been called systematically from this number every day, more than once, for the last four days. They NEVER leave a message. If they were legitimate callers, they would leave a message. I have reported it is a Scammer!
