someone indian or pakistani called from number stating i will be getting £1185 in PPI recently approved by FCA. she claimed name as Mariana or Maria. she asked me for dob address, which i mistakenly gave. then she started insisting on sort code and bank details. inspite of declining several time she wanted these details. so i told her to post me all details. interestingly they did not have email address.

Just received call from an asian sounding lady who said she was from Windows technical department. She said they had been monitoring my e-mail inbox and my computer was in danger from many viruses and it was likely to crash. She asked that I switch on the computer and she would lead me through the steps to stop any attacks. I asked for a phone number where I could contact the windows technical department as she was not in a position to prove her ID over phone. She gave me 2 numbers, which I googled. Came up
