This is a phone number used as a forwarding server for storing Voicemail numbers. On GPRS/Non-3G networks, it is necessary for forwarded voicemails to be delivered to another number, so they can be recorded for future delivery to the owner of the number. This number does not function without a forwarding number as well as a caller, and thus direct calls to it will not work as the program has nowhere to put the recorded message. Automated call about an Amazon purchase of an iPhone - which I haven t made. Picked it up as I live in the area. Sounds like a scam.

SCAM. Automated voice message with a female voice used. Reported to be from Inland Revenue and Customs, and claimed that it was vital that I (or my solicitor) phoned the number back. Threatened drastic legal action if I didn't comply. Hung up immediately after.
Call every hour from 7am till 12am, 7 days a week...!! Bloody annoying idiots...!!
An Indian sounding man said he was from one of the newest UK 'Habits companies' and wanted to ask me about my habits. Told him I knew he was a scammer and he hung up before I could finish my sentence! As well as my phone number he had my name and address which he said was obtained from public available data - very worrying!
