Illegal scam by green energy companies trying to get boiler replacement. It is important that all these calls are reported to the ICO. This is an extract from the ICO report for March 16 "We are continuing to focus on a high level of live and automated calls in Scotland about boiler replacement and window scrappage schemes. These organisations claim that individuals must replace their existing heating system with a new A-rated boiler due to a government scheme - this information is not true. The ICO
they ask receiver that how much debt you have, ask for remaining loan amount or credit card amount then offer half price to clear complete balance means you pay to them and they will complete your load, which is fraud. basically they just take they money out of you by telling they will clear the load or credit and then they would not.
They called claiming to be the meter provider. They asked in passing if they could get me some rates. I declined this and the call terminated. I guess they are channeling through to a comparison site that skims revenue for the jagger (them). Once they worked out I knew what I was doing it went dead. Number does not take calls the other way
