HMRC/National Insurance scam
They started to call me about year ago, then send me letter saying that they represent HMRC and i owe them about 1k, well thats not true so i called them few times- no answer... they called me back with questioning for my personal details and i said thats not possible i owe some money to HMRC as every end of tax year everything is ok and i get my tax back... answer was ok- we will close case. after that they stopped to call me for few months and now started to call me again for few times a week... finally i
Didn t recognise the number so wondered if it was a scam. Don t know anyone in Germany so guess it was.

Recorded message from the 'Bank Security centre' (apparently one bank security centre for all the banks....) reporting unusual card activity, £300 to Amazon & £1000 internationally, press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to operative... Fraudulent call, not sure where to report it though. This is an illegal call, criminals... You can listen to the recorded message and then report it please, on the website: actionfraud.police.uk

There is no simple way of verifying mobile numbers, many of them are unregistered on pay as you go tariffs. You will have to contact your customer and ask him to confirm his name.
