Fraud: Claims to be from HSBC fraud alert - asking to click on a link to cancel a potentially fraudulent payment
call was an automated call saying it was from a bank and my account had been compromised - 2 amounts of money taken from sources I do not use. It didn't say which bank of what account was involved just press 1 or 2 depending on my reaction. I did nothing but thought it should be reported as it came up as a local number. This is the second call this week of this nature so everyone should be aware that these nasty people are targeting people some of who may be vunerable.
wanted me to give over bank details and pay 50p a week for 3 years then it would be free to stop nuisance calls and over seas tele sales/surveys.
