Customer service team from The Economist Magazine
tried to get me to call the number saying it was to collect over £3k for appi cover on a loan i have never had!!!
Called landline today 04.06.2021 11.30am. No message left. Number not known to us. Almost certainly a scam call from an untraceable PAYG mobile.

I never answer if a number is unknown to me and don't know the area code, I get so many calls from unknown numbers every day and if it was important they would leave a voice mail, they always hang up as voice mail kicks in, every time in the past I answered it was always telemarketing, number is now in my block box.
07446996408 called 13.10. No message left. Also a very similar number, 07446994740, rang this morning at 11.12. They also left no message. This is doubly suspicious as I don’t get many unknown calls and never answer unknowns unless they leave a message explaining who they are.
SCAM
This is fraudulent scam - someone pretending to be from the Inland Revenue. They leave you a threatening message to call them back, then want to know your personal details. Block.
