Got a text from this number proclaiming to be Lloyds telling me I’d paired a device with them today. I haven’t done anything of the sort but the text wants me to clink on a link if “ this wasn’t you!”. I’ve decided not to click the link as I think this is spam and fraudulent.

*SCAM* claiming to be HMRC. Even if there was a "serious lawsuit filed against my name," I'm pretty sure "Officer Lisa Williams from HM Revenue & Customs" would call me in person rather than send a text-to-speech robot to wish me a "blessed day." Dangerous to the vulnerable. So bad it made me laugh though! Kept a copy of the recording.
These people keep calling me to contact someone who has never lived at my address and have consequently never been on my phone number, no matter how many times I tell them this they refuse to take my number from their records. They are parasites feeding on the backs of peoples misfortune. It should be made illegal to sell on debts, the companies that are stupid enough to lend to someone who has given them a false phone number should be made to bear the debt and any costs and responsibilities of recovery.
