Three mobile. I placed new bill phone order 10 minutes before getting a call. It was just a buzz actually and it seems they were checking of phone is working. I picked up a phone and they hanged up on me. Not very nice way to check if phone number is active I suppose.

SCAM / SPAM Rings 3 times then stops. Very annoying. Blocked.
Anonymous, they may well not be selling to YOU, but the information that you give them will be sold on to others and you will then be hounded by these 'companies' some...

The Window People they just ignore the telephone preference register. I've requested number removal only to be called thee times again this week. Very annoying.
I received a call it says money transfer from my bank account. Then an Asian accent man, said it is fraud department. I can here the crowed behind it look call center, I told him this is scum, he end the call

Internet scam Called 8a.m said Steve from Virgin Media about my broadband connection. Said, am not in a Virgin area, he hung up.

Call from Microsoft (yeah right) about 'the errors on my computer'. Gave me a code so I could 'verify the call was genuine and they had the licence code from my computer'. Their methods was to have me open the command prompt and run assoc and had me confirm that their 'licence code' was present; it's actually a fixed value present on all PCs. I got through to the third level of handler, before telling them I was a Chartered Software Engineer, gave them a flea in their ear and they hung up.
Won't stop calling even after being blocked by apps A law should be put in place or a new blocking system on mobile phones so that no one can call you if you do not know the number
