Called wanting to talk to me about an accident that wasn t my fault but didn t know my name - hung up when I asked what date this accident was supposed to have happened.
"Technical fault with your BT hub. Please go to your computer so I can fix it for you". Said I was unable to do so at present. Claimed they were informed of our car accident. When I asked for their name or company, they hung up. Calling them back, I was unable to call the caller ID from their call.
just had a call from these guys Swift Management Insurance Company asking if I've been involved in a car accident within the last 5 years... I had to repeat 3 times to them...

Nuisance and fraud!
Just received a call from this number, a female with an American accent, who wanted to ask a few questions (a survey, not selling anything). Asked where she got my number (we are with TPS) and she said BT. I explained there s no way BT would give out (or sell) a number registered with TPS. I explained it s illegal to coldcall TPS-registered numbers. I asked if she was calling from the US, she said no, it s a UK company but the call is being made from an offshore address. I said goodbye.
Pertains to be from BT and that they are going to cut off my phone. I don't have a phone contract with BT. Caller called 3 times from 08:30 to 10:00 hrs.
