This morning a man called my elderly mother from 08000869345 asking for her visa card number to renew her card protection but she cancelled it 2y ago! She didn't give him any information and he tried to confuse her (whilst carefully avoiding giving his name or a company name). Fortunately she thought it didn't sound right and didn't give him any information but rang me straight away. I'm glad her scam radar was on top form today & that there are websites like this for people to look up scammers' phone numbe

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers, debt collecting). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 845286xxxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?
