This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. SCAM claims to be from HMRC. As a former HMRC officer I know they do not make calls like this. All HMRC numbers begin with 0300 or 03000.
