Another 10 digit tosser. Didn't answer but yet another scammer.
These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility.
I got a missed call. I genuinely thought it was someone I know so I called them back. They knew my name and tried to sell me life insurance...
SCAM Sent SMS including a link. Said I had missing census information and not updating this may result in £1000 fine. Said for me to click the link to update information to avoid having to pay any fines in future. I clicked the link but phone detected the link as unsafe and sent me a full red screen reading: “DECEPTIVE WEBSITE DETECTED” and gave me a choice to proceed or to go back to previous page. Don’t be fooled like I was! You may not be so lucky as to dodge the negative consequences like I was!
