Asked by name about drugs and alcohol awareness scheme. Didn't like me saying no thanks. Eventually I had to ask her to ring off. Scam
The caller was American saying they were from BT and my internet would be disconnected press 1 to speak to BT .... Which I did then got a American man thanking me for responding...
The same Indian man keeps ringing me, when I challenge him he puts the phone down. Tried ringing the number back but it doesn't ring.

RAng my phone and then hung up. According to another site this is a place "Gateway House" an NHS mental health facility. Have no idea why they are calling me as I do...

I very much doubt the call was from Myton Hospices, who are based around both Coventry and Warwick. The area code 01524 is for Lancaster. Thus this looks like a scam.
cold call about possible reclaiming of interest/insurance paid on credit card - asked how they got my number as hadn t had card for years - said it was possibly if i had barclays, mbna or capital one credit card, if i had paid the minimum amount and interest gathered then credit card company were automatically adding insurance to fee from 2000-2009 incorrectly and it could be claimed back. Advised me to go through my paperwork to see if had valid claim
SPAM - flagged by mobile as likely spam call. Caller introduced themselves as Vodafone, who I do not have a contract with and never have, so either a phishing attempt or if genuinely from Vodafone then unwanted marketing spam.

Called and said successful PPI claim for ?3,600,but had to purchase ?200 Ukash voucher as the cheque had to be delivered by hand. Sounded dodgy so googled number. Their contact was Maria Taylor ext 1015

SEO and google ranking company. I get at least two to three calls a day from different 0161 numbers yet its the same company who calls. I have already filled a complaint about another company based in Manchester who were a scam and they are being investigated by the metropolitan police. No good comes from these manchester numbers, they’ve tried it on so many times.
