Cold Caller - Strong Foreign Accent - BLOCKED
Says it was Manchester just ignored it
Recorded message advising that loans can be written off. Not sure where they got my number from!>!>? Keep clear of these people. I pressed 9 to take me off the mailing list will wait to see if that actually happens or not!
SCAM - Recorded message claiming to be VISA saying 2 large purchases had been made on my visa card (I don't have one) so deffo a scam. Shame it was a recorded message or I would have been happy to insult them in new and inventive ways.
Almost certainly SPAM/SCAM as it called at the usual parasites'/pests' evening time, in this case 6.30pm. There was a suspicious pause & silence (auto-dialler?) when I answered and then the call was disconnected. I then rang back the number (03300270201) and got the following recorded message (female voice, American accent): "The number you have dialled is no longer in service. To purchase service on this number, visit..." and the message cuts off (although the call still seems to be connect
