Just had a call from a guy. Couldn't really hear or understand what he was saying asking him to repeat him self still really couldn't gasp what he was saying as it was...
SCAM they call/leave a message telling that they are HRMC and that if you don’t call them back you’re going to get arrayed. HRMC website confirmed that this is not how they operate and this is a scam.
These are scam calls, I used to get up to 8 a day, I got myself the bt 8500 home phone, it blocks all nuisance calls. Check it out on Google.

Usual PPI / car accident / similar sort of claim cold call. Blocked number. These people must be utterly shameless. I couldn t sit at a desk with a headset on being told to get lost (or worse) 100 s of times a day. Still, it s a job I suppose but I d rather be unemployed than lower myself to this sort of thing!

I just had a call from this number saying that there is a tax fraud investigation in my name and tonprrss one to speak to a caseworker, otherwise a warrant will be issued for my arrest, I have checked the government website and thaley have confirmed that this is a scam and to disconnect from the called immediately

I believe it is someone who called the wrong number. I got a caller on my mobile. I have my number for more than 10 years. I think she misdialled from her phone. She asked for Gemma. I just said there is no Gemma and she got the wrong number. I can't say if this is a trick or not.

Who on earth is calling me from the Russian Federation Armenia..!? If it’s James Bond looking for extraction they dialled the wrong number. If it was anyone else it must be a scam. Either way I’m marking it as dangerous and blocking.

Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

Opus staff continue to harass me for a balance allegedly owed to NPower. (NPower wrote to me, confirming that their bills using estimated meter readings were inaccurate, & that I owed NOTHING> However, Opus continue to phone me & did so again today.
