Asked about my computer and windows, told him had no computer and finished conversation.
I missed 8 calls from this number in the space of 10 mins! When I spotted the missed calls I called back(no voicemail messages had been recorded) I had assumed it was very urgent owing to the persistence of the caller - the number is not recognised. Updated: just picked up a call - it seems I d had an accident, couldn t help but play along .... after a while I added that I was a police officer (which I m not!) and the line went dead - how odd.

They are energy consultants without qualms and trying to scare end users into agreeing a contract over the phone by saying that they are on extortionate out of contract rates, etc. Best way to deal with these people is to say you have signed a long-term contract and therefore not interested in their services.
