Sounds like a call centre.They hung up on me without saying a word.
I got a txt this morning saying my loan application had been accepted - I hadn't applied for one .. I already had to speak to the fraud people at the police only last week as I had another email saying the same thing from a different company then received around 35 txt one after the other offering car finance and loans etc . Yes that is laithwaites. Of course they call again and again if you don't answer; they want to help. Lovely service! Be polite and ask them to take you off the list and they will. But then you won't get a third of the price off your wine anymore. They are wonderfully responsive.
